Evidence that #erythrocyte and #cardiac lactate dehydrogenase a is higher in breath-holding #divers (BHD) compared to matched controls, and that #lactate facilitates #oxygen-unloading in blood from BHD after remote #ischemia conditioning, similar to diving mammals.
