The Eurostar check-in was as bad as expected, plus I got my razor blades confiscated. First time that had happened. Still the departure lounge is much more pleasant than that at St Pancras. However, on the way to London on time so all is well.

Almost two weeks after our online booking with #Eurostar went wrong, with fhe website changing the dates to ones we didn't want, #Eurostar customer service still haven't sorted it out. I say "customer service" but there was no service. Appalling. They have sat on their arses since 8 March.

Als ich in England arbeitete und lebte fuhr ich einige male mit dem #Eurostar von London nach Brüssel beziehungsweise zurück. Heute ist das wenn ich mich richtig informierte anders. Damals gab es nur wenige Verbindungen die non-stop fuhren. Alle hielten in Lille. Einige wenige auch in Ashford.

Now I guess you will understand, why I call it #BrexshitBritain. Although #KingsCrossSaintPancras is only a couple of stops from me on the tube, I generally find it #cheaper & #easier to fly to mainland #Europe. As the ques are #horrendous for #Eurostar I think it was better when it used #Waterloo.

Somewhat annoyingly after a longer than usual queue at Brussels they have decided to close the lounge and not let me use the toilet or top up my water bottle. That's not great #Eurostar service.
