Just watched “Even If This Love Disappears Tonight” (오늘 밤, 세계에서 이 사랑이 사라진다 해도) on Netflix. Think 50 First Dates… but with a bittersweet ending that absolutely rips your heart out.
10/10 watch if you want to ugly cry.

#EvenIfThisLoveDisappearsTonight is really well made and manages to develop all the characters properly, but I didn’t expect any less from Director #KimHyeYoung. The performances are heartwarming and earnest in their delivery.
The story we have seen before, nevertheless we comeback to it.
Like in the original version, I am angry they decided to delete all record of him. It was never their choice to make.

What this film does right is the fact he’s just gone, just like her memories. No memorable heartbreaking goodbye, nothing. Just, gone.
And that’s 1000 times worse because they truly loved each other and she simply can’t remember any of it.
