A screenshot from Helldivers 2: an extraction shuttle returns from the surface of an orange desert world to the lone destroyer waiting in orbit, backlit by the fiery orange ring system of the planet. Behind the destroyer, mostly risen above the horizon, a moon-sized object looms, completely, featurelessly black, like a hole in space.

Presumably a glitch during an extraction in Helldivers 2 left me returning to my ship as an extremely ominous orb loomed over the horizon.

I'm just rereading it :)
I need to start a punk band called The Affront.
They're so awful, but it is funny. Cross between posh military leaders, football hooligans and little boys that like torturing animals.

It was a warship…designed to glory in destruction, when considered appropriate. It found an awful beauty in both the weaponry of war & the devastation it was capable of inflicting & yet it knew that attractiveness stemmed from a kind of insecurity, a sort of childishness.
