Getting the smooth gloss finish overall was elusive.
It's pretty hot in my paint shop now so spitting & pebbling, sanding after drying was endless so called it good!
This looks fine 4 a fleet a/c but a 'Blue Angels' high gloss finish is on my bucket list still🥲

The kit is very good. Excellent fit overall.
It has enormous potential for the super detail artist.
This build had a couple of disasters...
So about normal for me🙂
This marking choice is basically an earlier version of the kit opt. w/o the stripe.
Also shown is my 1/72 F8F

My 1/32 Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat from the Trmptr kit.
This project was fun & reaffirmed my experience that High Gloss paint is one of the TOUGHEST things to get right.
Car modelers IMO do some of the BEST paint work in scale!
