It could even be for the sole purpose of setting up future punchlines.” Frame 3: Surrounded by a time-shift border, with a grey background and the title “Later...” we see a sleazy-looking individual talking to star boy, saying, “Did it hurt?” “Did what hurt?” Star Boy replies. “Did it hurt when you fell from the heavens?” the sleazebag asks. Frame 4: “...” Star Boy Replies to the now surprised and confused-looking sleazebag, “Yes. Quite a lot, actually. Thank you for asking.” Frame 5: Surrounded by a time-shift border, with a grey background, and the title “Much later...” the same sleazebag is talking to Star Boy, though now Star Boy has a big sword on his back and swooshy red hair. “Did it hurt?” Sleazebag asks. “Huh...?” Star Boy replies. “Did it hurt when you fell from the heavens?” Sleazebag asks. Frame 6: “...” Star Boy replies, then swishes his sword from his back to hover at Sleazebag's throat. “Not as much as it will hurt if you say another word.” Frame 7: Back to the present time, Star Boy says to the person with glasses and a ponytail, “Well. You have a lovely planet. Thanks for letting me visit. I must be off.” He then begins to fwoosh away on a rainbow. Frame 7.5: In a series of frames, the pensive individual with glasses and a ponytail's eyes seem to track something arcing over her head before returning down again. Frame 8: Star Boy fwooshes back down to…

The person with a ponytail and glasses replies, “Don't mind them. People are always afraid of what they don't understand.” Frame 2: “Wow, this is fascinating,” the person with a ponytail and glasses continues. “Falling stars are usually meteoroids, not literal stars. Why are you different?” Star Boy replies, “I have no idea. Maybe this entire sequence is just a metaphor. Or maybe it seemed like a good idea at the time. Page 1 of the Star Boy Origins graphic novel posted by StarBoyWebcomics posted August 31, 2025. Frame 1: Some time ago, in a place not quite far enough away... A five-point star with a face fwooshes through space, trailing a rainbow. The title, "STAR BOY ORIGINS" overlays the rainbow. The narative continues: A star was shooting through space on a self-guided tour of the universe. Like you do. Frame 2: Continuing to fwoosh through space on a rainbow, the star has a delighed expression on his face. "Oh my stars!" he says upon spotting a blue and green sphere in the distance ahead of him. "Look at that cute little blue and green planet!" Frame 3: The star's expression shifts from one of joy to one of terror as the rainbow he is riding splutters to a stop. Frame 4: "Not little!" the star exclaims, the look of terror still on his face. "Definitely not little!!!" Ahead of him, the blue and green planet with a grey moon looms large. Frame 5: Now the looming planet is pelow the star, who is looking even more frightend and surrounded by faint coulourful clouds and *Fwpt* sounds. "Oh, stars!" he says. "Not good!! Not good!!! Why does gravity always have to be such a drag?" Frame 6: We see the star's back as he falls towards the planet. "Quick! What looks softer? Green or blue? Green or blue!? Green or blue!? Green or blue!?" Frame 7: "Green!" is declared from close to the planet. Now a massive cloud of dust billows up from the planet's surface, comtaining the word "*BAM*"

Having drawn two comics about Star Boy, I wanted to know where he came from. So I started a graphic novel.

Welcome to the first Episode of Star Boy Webcomics. When I made this, I was just messing around and having fun with an inside joke. Since then, I've made at least one Star Boy comic every day.

A post for my #tarot homies...

For ages I have identified as The Fool and The Hermit. My decks have agreed.

These days my deck insists I'm the Queen of Wands.

It's not wrong.
