Frame 1: In Zephyr's apartment, in front of a table holding a large white newsboy hat decorated with black pentagons, surrounded by beanbag chairs, with a creepy wardrobe in the background, Star Boy is holding Zephyr's cavalier hat and talking to Zephyr, who is pointing at the mini top hat on their head, saying, “Of course! It's my underhat.” “Underhat...? Star By asks. Your Gracious Magesty the cat stands up on her beanbag chair. Frame 2: The cat jumps to the floor and walks toward Star Boy, who is lifting Zephyr's hat to his head while Zephyr says, “Yes, for emergencies that might otherwise leave me hatless. For example, what if I got hit by a bus and my hat was knocked off? It would be terribly embarrassing to be deceased and without a hat. Thus I ensure that I'm always wearing a clean underhat.” Frame 3: “So, you never take your hat off? Star boy asks, lowering Zephyr's hat to his head as the cat continues to walk toward him. “Not usually,” Zephyr says. “I don't like what I look like without it.” “Why not?” Star Boy asks. Frame 4: “Because I look like this,” Zephyr says, lifting the mini top hat off their head. “Oh my stars!” Star boy says, looking quite alarmed and wearing Zephyr's cavalier hat. “You look just like all the background characters!” The cat begins walking behind him. Frame 5: “How DARE you, sir!” Zephyr says, slamming the hat back onto his head. “I still have my sparkles! Though, admittedly, most people don't deign to notice them.” The cat begins weaving around Star Boy's legs. Frame 6: “Now, about that hat...” Zephyr says, considering Star Boy. “Try grinning like me.” “Why?” Star Boy asks. “Trust me; the audience will love it.” Frame 7: “What audience?” Star boy asks, grinning like Zephyr while they both stare into your soul. Frame 8: “It's just a saying,” Zephyr says, considering Star Boy again. “Hmm... I was right. That hat just isn't you.”
