🔥 Sermon: “Like Babylon, They Are Never Satisfied” — Habakkuk 2:4-5

> “The Babylonians are very proud.
What they want is not good.
But the person who is godly will live by faithfulness.
Wine makes them do foolish things.
They are proud… they are never satisfied.
They gather all nations to themselves.” — Habakkuk 2:4-5

Prideful leaders always return to the same sin: control.
Like Babylon, they boast, “I will gather nations, I will rule them, I will make them mine.”
Whether by war, wealth, or false religion, they chase domination while claiming divine purpose.

We see this spirit again when men dream of empires — when rulers like Trump speak of “gathering nations” or claiming lands like Greenland as trophies. It is the same hunger Habakkuk warned of — a desire to play god.

But God says, “The person who is godly will live by faith.”
Not by conquest.
Not by greed.
Not by pride.

The faithful don’t gather nations for themselves — they gather souls for peace.
✝️ “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” — Matthew 5:9

Much of Christian Zionism traces back to the Scofield Bible — a 1909 commentary that redefined “Israel” as a modern state. It wasn’t revelation. It was propaganda. Millions were taught to bless empire, not justice. Undo the brainwashing. #FaithNotEmpire #EndChristianZionism #JusticeForPalestine

God’s Israel isn’t a modern state. It’s a people who wrestle with God, seek justice, and carry covenant. Modern Israel is a colonial regime — not divine fulfillment. Christians must reject empire theology. Zionism has no place in Christianity. #FaithNotEmpire #TrueIsrael #JusticeForPalestine

✝️ “The Truth Shall Set You Free” Columbus Day, Indigenous Peoples Day, and the Gospel That Won’t Bow to Empire

Columbus didn’t bring Christ to a new world—he carried empire to a living one. Today, truth matters more than myth. Repentance is not erasure; it’s freedom. ✝️ #IndigenousPeoplesDay #ColumbusDay #TruthShallSetYouFree #FaithNotEmpire #InSpiteOfItAll

As a Christian, I’m disappointed by how many pastors remain silent on Gaza’s genocide—funded by Israel/U.S. Christianity isn’t just unity—it’s justice. It means standing with the oppressed, not avoiding discomfort. Remember, silence betrays Christ. #FaithNotEmpire #FreePalestine #GazaGenocide

Palestinian Christian voices are clear: “We are crucified daily under occupation.” “We follow a Savior who was born under empire, not one who blesses it.” Their faith isn’t abstract—it’s resistance, rooted in love and land. #PalestinianChristians #FaithNotEmpire #LetGazaLive #JesusWasNotAColonizer

Christian Nationalism is a heresy, bowing to power, not the God of mercy. The Gospel knows no borders, no flags—only justice, love, & peace. Christ overturned tables, not hearts for empire. Let us reject this idolatry and follow the way of mercy and resistance. #ChristianNationalism #FaithNotEmpire
