sneak peak on a new kick move
It's going to be part of the core moveset so you can seamlessly weave it in between sword hits. Deals 0 damage, but x2 posture, so ideal for aggressive players that can keep up the pressure. And yeah it disarms enemies instead of killing.

testing out an idea from a friend
If you take a lot of damage in succession you can get back most of it by healing immediately. However, if you don't have an opening, being aggressive will prolong the grace period, so you can heal after the fight.

I was worried that players would bypass the mechanic by rolling to one side to make it a 1v1, so now I gotta give these enemies a backup range attack.
This 2v1 thing started out as a way to utilize simpler enemies, but now they're even more complicated😅

Iruruu uses bandages
I've never liked the idea of potions or food as healing items, so I've been thinking of alternatives that might make a bit more sense, like cautery irons or bandages.
These are harder to convey in pixel art tho, so I'll have to get a little creative.
