One of problems with this more typical layouts - two figures facing off on either side of the card - is that some kind of visual "clash"/impact effect ends up in the center instead of one of the characters.

One of the better Famous Battles cards. I like Swoll Dormammu busting out the borders, and the whole thing has a vaguely Gene Colan-esque feel to it.

This is basically just a crappier version of the Incredible Hulk #400 cover, with longer arms, sharper chins and less holo-foil.
