Day 30:
(F*** I knew I'd forget if I put it off)
No idea what "wrap-up" is, so I'm going to talk about my wins for the month.
I completed my 50k in 30 days challenge, finished part 1 of SILVERLEAF and started my 2nd series, CICADA KEEPER.
Honestly? Huge wins for me!

Day 30!
Wrap up! A few months ago, I decided that I needed to redo my beginning chapters. I wanted to make them more exciting and introduce certain characters better. It was sometimes frustrating to go back and turn my existing chapters into something that fit with the new.
This month’s fantasy indie discussion topics.
#FantasyIndiesSeptember #BookSky #writingcommunity Day 30
This month I continued to edit Seeing Magic. I realized my main sub-plot had challenges that I needed to address. Discovery writing leads to discovery editing!
Also, Being Magic went wide and is now available at: books2read.com/beingmagic
This month has been all about wrangling the paperback of my debut fantasy, Beyond the Humming Downs.
Back cover design… rookie mistakes… a gazillion interior PDFs… Proofs received…
Later today I will hit go. Yesss!

Day 30 #FantasyIndiesSeptember
September was one of my best months this year:
-Scene 3 of “Dusk and Dawn at Laufenden” is done at last!
-I finished two more drabbles, “On the Roadside” and “The Goatskin Codex”
-Preorders are live for “Hanging at Crosbhothar” (see 📌)

This month, I added 16,183 words to Book 7 of my Oracle of Delphi series WIP. Total WC for Book 7 is 58,743; for the series it's 681,037.
I read 6 books this month, but none were indie.
On to October/Spooktober! 🎉

#FantasyIndiesSeptember Day 30: Wrap-up!
I tried to participate, and I didn't manage it a lot of days, but I DID post a few times which is better than I've done in the past!!
30) Wrap up.
Overall I feel September was a better month for writing. While I did not reach my goal of 20k words, I did write 15.8k new words in my WiPs (TPC and my new Space Quest story).

#FantasyIndiesSeptember & #Queerprompts - Wrap-Up
The draft came to life this month. Drama, conflict, conspiracy, change (both setting and characters), some fucking anime moments I'm fucking keeping, and some salacious and fun banter. Everything and everyone came into focus! Best month for WIP.
Day 30:
Not where I wanted to be with this WIP, but I dealt with moving and a lot of work this month. Starting tomorrow, I'm making this WIP way more of a priority.

Published Queen of Thorns, the next book in my series. Working on a short story I'm kind of excited about. Jay-Jay is recording book 4, which is going slow.
Overall, not a bad month.

#FantasyIndiesSeptember Day 30:
I can’t believe it’s the end of the month already! I didn’t do very much book-wise. I got 12k words down for the WIP, but it was slow going. I didn’t spend much time marketing either. It was a pretty dismal month, all in all.😢
#WrapUp for #FantasyIndiesSeptember
This has been a lot of fun! Thanks, everyone, for the laughs and encouragement! You're all incredible!!

#FantasyIndiesSeptember Day 30
Sadly, no sales for my birthday month. However, I've made progress on edits for Ballad's End & have even started working on another new WIP:
#Fateweaver is shaping up to be a jazzy mix of adventure & humor, wrapped up in my own Nixtralian flair!
Day 30: This has been a good month. I have continued to write "Broken to Outspoken". My 2019 "History of Towns In Missouri" can now be ordered online. I published a new children's book, "The Splatter Monster". It has been a busy month! #FantasyIndiesSeptember #booksky #childrensbook #kitlit

Day 30
WIP #1 (cozy fantasy) has stalled. I wanted a cozy story, but it has grown darker. I'm debating if I want to fix that or just let it flow naturally. WIP #2 is done, and I started a new WIP #2.
Thanks @chesneyinfalt.bsky.social @lvrussell.bsky.social

Now that I've wrapped up my first editing pass on book 2 of The Burning Veil, it's time to go back to book 1 for some finishing touches. Though probably after I catch up on the LitRPG I'm currently reading.

It was okayish. I will travel a lot next month and might not be able write. Thus, I'm thinking of introducing you to a story that is already done and published. I hope that's ok!
