FantasyIndiesJuly
I've been super overwhelmed working on the blurbs for my already published stories, & trying to figure out grammar stuff.

In the end it comes down to:
"is english consistent enough that 1 *can* write correctly?"
"& is it worth it?"
(I've got a lot to think about)

List for #fantasyindiesjuly Day 31: Monthly wrap up
The motif this month is forest themed. The background is various shades of darker green. There are some leaves and vines visible on the edges, and a few butterflies. There is a gold colored decorative border, that, in the corners, is done to resemble stylized vine.

Day 31 #FantasyIndiesJuly

Monthly Wrap-up: July ended up being better than expected. Not only did I make it through the first two scenes of my “Dusk and Dawn at Laufenden” rewrite but I also wrote two new drabbles, “A Mouthful of Water” and “Shiver”.

Aaaand that was July. 😁

Beyond the Humming Downs is launched, tralalala. (Well, the ebook, anyway.) It was a modest launch, it must be said. But it happened — and that’s something to celebrate.

Farewell, July! Prompt Wrap-Up
#QueerPrompts #FantasyIndiesJuly

Didn't do as many prompts this time. However, these and #JulyWorldbuilders spawned two new fucking projects, as this universe inside me expands.

I'm afraid of dying because I only have one novel out, so a universe will die with me.

July 31: Wrap up

This month consisted mostly of worldbuilding. I figured out a lot about when and where the story takes place. I am so excited to use that knowledge as I go back to composing the story itself.

Here is Kwosa in red and Ayesha in green. (Made with HeroForge)

#31 The Forever Bridge and Not the Final Girl began as whims which soon transformed into something larger than I'd intended. Black Swan Blues is the culmination of an impulse that began 17 years ago, and Cravers unites elements even older than that.

31.

In June I had a huge boost of writing productivity, but it came at the expense of a lot of life stuff. In July I've had to pull back, but I'm still making progress and feeling motivated! The end of this draft is in sight, and then the real work can start.

This WIP is still in the middle of it's first draft, it's going slowly, and I have the barest ideas of where I want to go based on vibes and themes alone. That's really intimidating, I won't lie, I don't think I'm more than an amateur 1/
