It's been weird in Indiana. I've been around creeks and reservoirs all week and I have yet to see one kingfisher. But also learned that apparently some people in Indiana call pileated woodpeckers kingfishers here. WHAT?!?!? 🤷♀️ I had to disabuse my father-in-love of that notion.
