Ich war in den letzten 12 Tagen leider öfter unterwegs, viel ÖPNV, sowie teils geschlossene, enge, unbelüftete Räume mit vielen hustenden, schniefenden, halsschmerzgeplagten Menschen.
Konsequent #FFP3 hielt Stand: Keine Ansteckung, keine Symptome, fortlaufende Tests negativ.⤵️

Sadly, it looks like a good way to potentially spread infection between and to patients. We really do want to see the use of #FFP3 respirators in healthcare as standard practice.
Waiting times will continue to rise as COVID post infection risks last years, risks of heart damage, blood clots, immune damage, neurological
and clearly secondary infections. Only preventing infections will change this picture. 🧵

By telling people to wear a mask when symptomatic, they're increasing the stigma of wearing a mask. The assumption will be that you're ill. We would like people to understand that you can wear #ffp3 to reduce the chance of spreading OR catching airborne diseases. Transmission can preceed symptoms.
