Dyeing the yak/merino/silk blend and some merino/nylon minis. I am loving how the greyish-brown yak blend is muting and softening the colors 🤩

Two project bags. One is the ikea rainbow bag and has two shawls and two hats to donate and my notions kit. The other is a tiny Trader Joe’s bag I was gifted with a Miffy pin on it that was a gift from my youngest. That has a small pouch with a hat to donate, a MTI hat for me, and a square of what will be a patchwork blanket. Mostly no thinking knitting.
#Fiberuary today is project bags. I have literally had nightmares about being out and about and not having knitting with me. So one of these leaves the house with me every time. 🧶

A calico (or tortoiseshell?) cat lounges comfortably in a chair. She is a cat who visits the Maritime Museum every day- the staffer told us she shows up at opening, hangs out all day, and then goes home when they close. They don't know her name but she's adorable and I love her.

#Fiberuary day 4 (yes I skipped 2 & 3, we've been sick as dogs move on.) Today is work in progress so here's a sock I started in an airport. (only time I use wooden dpns ✈️) Toe up shorties with the leftover from my Alaska hat, and I weighed & divided the ball so I can just knit til it's gone. 🙂

Blue and yellow rovings for spinning
The same rovings spun into blue green and yellow single ply yarn
The plyed yarn made into a crocheted pouch, about 6 inches long and 2 high. The blue has made a stripe across the middle. The bottom part is mainly yellow, the top mainly light blue.
The same little pouch as before but in worse light, you can see the zip
The fluffball wanted to be a little zipped pouch to keep tatting shuttles in.
