A smiling senior Golden Retriever lies in the cool summer grass in front of a dense planting of hydrangeas. She has a soft "chuck it" blue dog disc lying across her paws. She had reached the stage of not being able to run and retrieve, so I tossed the disc to her to catch, which seemed very satisfying to her.
