Incredible imaging from the @mind-western.bsky.social team for #fluorescencefriday ๐๐งก๐!
For #FluorescenceFriday, some of my favorite sections from a new 10X Xenium run at different locations in the anterior/posterior axis of the mouse brain (credit to Olivia Drake, an MD/PhD student in the lab). Each dot marks the location of a specific type of deep layer excitatory neuron.
Happy #FluorescenceFriday!

For #FluorescenceFriday, a recent publication highlight from first author Duby Okonkwo from the Schoenecker lab. Great bone imaging with CISR widefield, 3D rendering, and analysis help from Oleg Kovtun. Thanks for using and acknowledging the CISR! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41651294/

#fluorescencefriday we are back to amyloid (orange) and blood vessels (green) on a triple KI mouse line (Appnl-f, hMAPT and hApoE3). Much less amyloid in blood vessels than the correspondent ApoE4 mice. By the @mind-western.bsky.social team

Close up of a larval zebrafish gut. In this image, several phagocytes have wrapped themselves along the intestine, and are sending protrusions into the gut. The gut itself is visible as a simple long tube. Individual lips-rich cells are visible in cyan.
It's a rainy Easter and I'm working on draft 22 (๐ข) of this manuscript, so here's a mental reset #FluorescenceFriday peek at some wonderfully busy magenta-labeled phagocytes crawling along a lipid-rich (in cyan) larval fish intestine.
Check out some cool science images (with music by NF) from a recent @nature.com study. @snaga13.bsky.social, @jbuenrostro.bsky.social, et al. found that epigenetic memory of colitis promotes #ColorectalCancer growth. www.nature.com/articles/s41... #FluorescenceFriday ๐งช

Going through some old microscopy data, and I have to say - I maintain that #mitochondria are the most beautiful organelles, but the #ER might be a very close second.
