We've an absolutely remarkable font from our #ScottishChurchOfTheWeek, St Conan's Kirk in Argyll, to share for this week's #FontsOnFriday post.

Two kneeling bronze angels, perched on a polished granite ball atop a carved wooden pillar, hold aloft a small Zulu herring boat that acts as the basin.

For #Fontsonfriday, three photos of the elegant marble-work on the church font at Sudeley Castle, in the Cotswolds, near Winchcombe. Henry VIII’s last wife, Catherine Parr (who out-lived him) is buried nearby.

We visited St John the Baptist Church, Sedlescombe, here's their C15 font, its of a plain octagonal style, the polygonal cover is thought to be C16th.
