MOH steps up efforts to strengthen food safety controls
KUALA SELANGOR: The Ministry of Health (MOH) is intensifying efforts to strengthen food safety controls at all levels to achieve the target of a food poisoning incidence rate of less than 50 cases per 100,000 population by 2030. Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said the target includes industries, public food premises and educational institutions, in line with the National Food Safety Action Plan 2024-2030 and the National Food Safety Policy 2.0.
