#FoodDeserts were a familiar term to me, but #FoodSwamps were not. In essence, these are areas where there's a lack of fresh, quality food and an abundance of low-nutrition-value foods (high-processed/fast foods). The podcast episode linked above discusses food deserts + reasons they've emerged.
