#PFAS have been contaminating workers & communities for many decades. But still the producers & industry users fight back against proposals to restrict #ForeverChemicals.

Then we took the community representatives on a lobby tour of 🇪🇺 quarter to show how #PFAS corporate lobby operates in Brussels: its access to decision-makers, and how some have relied upon “misleading, fearmongering, exaggerated, or potentially dishonest” lobbying, as #ForeverLobbying Project showed

For over a year, the #ForeverLobbying Project investigated an ongoing orchestrated lobbying & disinformation campaign by the PFAS industry, with the aims of watering down an EU proposal to ban “forever chemicals” & shifting the burden of environmental pollution onto society.
