Ballynahinch were first on the scoreboard with a penalty from Justin Rea for a 0 - 3 lead. CIYMS tied the game if minutes late as a penalty from Ewan Nelson took the score to 3 - 3.

Forster Cup: CIYMS 2XV 22 Ballyclare 3XV 15 Semi Final We caught up with the Forster Cup semi final between CIYMS 2XV and Ballyclare 3XV at Belmont on Saturday afternoon. CI home side opening the score early with No 20, Matthew Kilgore picking up and diving over to put the first points on the board. Matthew Kilgore scored all CI's points with 2 tries and 4 penalties. Ballyclare responded well with some great running from their backs and it came as no surprise when No 11, Chad Morris went in at the corner to open the visitor’s account and take the score to 3 - 5.

Forster Cup: CIYMS 2XV 34 Rainey Old Boys 3XV 0 I caught up with the first half of the Forster Cup match between CIYMS 2nd XV and Rainey Old Boys 3rd XV at Belmont Park on Saturday afternoon. As we approach the shortest day we tend to try and catch the first half of an unlit match and the second half of a match under lights so I started off with this match before Joining the second half of the 1st XV match under lights on the main pitch.
