I adopted #FosterKittyShona. After a year of caring for her with her extreme allergies...and many infections due to atopic dermatitis....I couldnt let her go.

#FosterKittyShona wears her come (folded down) only at night now..while her belly fur grows in...here she is observing the birds and trees - safely from our outside lanai.
#FosterKittyShona wears her cone (folded down) only at night now...as her belly fur grows back in. The overgrooming could've been her known food allergies, stress, or just compulsive itching behavior after spay surgery. We may never know, but she is ON THE MEND. This soft cone has been amazing.
It's July 4th in the now "Military State of Florida"....as #FosterKittyShona takes cover from the storms..actual stormy weather and the horrific political storms.

Sweet #FosterKittyShona has suspected food allergies...but we may have identified the source. She's wearing a soft cone that can also be folded up - more like a traditional cone. She's a gentle soul, & I foster her on behalf of Snip Collier- an amazing nonprofit.

Welp. The onesie didn't totally limit #FosterKittyShona from overgrooming. She has suspected food allergies. She has been to her vet -a non profit who LOVES her; it's a long story.. but she is doing VERY well with her new "hat". She's such a great & sweet cat; I'm determined to help solve her issues
#FosterKittyShona is overgrooming on her belly. ☹️ So, instead of a cone, we're using a cat #onesie. I cut the "leg holes" off. She will wear a cone..but this is helping for now. She's sees her vet next week.
