Clearly not periodically arranged, they have a point-symmetry evident since 4 equally spaced lines of stronger spots irradiate from the centre of the image. Between them, additional smaller spots form geometrical patterns vaguely resembling the fourier transform of an aperiodic crystal. The background colour alternate dark blue and soft teal, whose calm feeling contrasts the energy present in the bright yellow spots, looking like tiny fireflies.
