It took a minute, but I completed my migration from #HelpScout to #FreeScout. My reasons were cost and digital sovereignty.

freescout.net is open-source and nice out of the box. Custom modules cost me €68 (lifetime), hosting is ~€6/month (PikaPods + mailbox). Everything's hosted in the EU.
