A colorful insect, likely from the Fulgoridae family, resting on mottled tree bark. The insect has striking orange and black stripes on its thorax, translucent wings with a bluish band near the base, and yellowish markings toward the tip.
I *think* it's #Fulgoridae, but can't find this exact one. In Vilcabamba, #Ecuador. Any ideas?

Sadly found my first invasive lanternfly nymphs in this region. These are first instars. I collected and point mounted as many as I could. The USDA team (which I represent) fighting this pest risks being laid off next month.
