Another fungus which can be found even in winter on rotting wood is the Jellydisc. Most common is the Purple Jellydisc , Ascocoryne sarcoides, but the Budding Jellydisc , Ascocoryne cylichnium, is difficult to be told apart from it.

Another Slime mold we found looks like small orange droplets or salmon eggs , it's possibly Trichia decipiens.

When ppl hear about slime mold they usually think 'Ewww!' But once you look up close at them they have some amazing structures and colours. This one looks a bit like caviar. Possibly Metatrichia floriformis.

I think these are all Pointed clubs , Clavaria acuta? Found near Bridgwater/Somerset on open grassland.
