#Iberia #Gibraltar #SaharanDust #Calima - updated post 07/04
As MeteoGib has been flagging up the last few days, the cut-off LOW/ DANA can be clearly seen developing West of Iberia, this is driving increased dust across the peninsula today bringing hazier skies and dusty rain with showers.
#Gibraltar - latest radars at 7:30am, 07/04 - show plenty of showers currently pushing slowly East - note that these are still mainly high-based showers and so may not all reach the ground - but those that do will bring dusty rain with them. 👀☔️
#Gibraltar #Weather - 07/04 - for this evening and overnight - showers or more prolonged spells of rain developing as a cold front moves in from the West, some heavy and thundery. Winds settling Westerly and picking up later, bringing a cooler night than of late with temperatures falling to 12C.
#Gibraltar #Weather - 07/04
A cloudier, hazy day with #SaharanDust and some showers pushing in from the West across the area, which may become locally heavy later and bring the risk of a rumble of thunder, but more especially over nearby Spain/ Morocco.
A gentle or moderate Easterly easing, 19C.
#Gibraltar - 6am, 07/04 - it's been a mostly cloudy night with especially plenty of upper cloud but, as forecast, some Levanter cloud also forming on a breezy Easterly - it looks like we've missed any showers so far, with any currently showing out West - the temperature 16C and humidity at 87%.

...these are mostly high-based and so may look angrier on radar than what may reach the surface, with some isol thunder - moving more N than E at the moment - but we should see the risk move closer this evening/ overnight. Any showers giving dusty rain.
