Look at my Camellia! This really cheered me up this morning. Followed #gqt #gardening advice last summer and watered it loads during bud formation. Fed it rose feed in June, July, Aug. Mulched with ericaceous compost and wood chips in December. #blooms #flowers #blossom #camellia

An apple tree in UK in January in a snowy garden. The tree is bare apart from around 25 red apples.

Red apples still on the tree in January. What will it taken for them to fall off? Iโ€™ve never seen this in previous years #GW #GQT

Why are the panellists on #GQT talking about the Black Isle as somewhere on the west coast of Scotland? It's very much on the east coast. Good old BBC London centrism on steroids ๐Ÿ™„

Oooh GQT is in the borough! Welcome to the Forest of Waltham, panel.

Here's a suggestion (diverting the thread only slightly... ๐Ÿซข):
Noting that the toxic squash๐ŸŽƒstory was a knock-off fm a recent #GQT, I am currently listening to #BeyondBelief... how 'bout George gets the ๐Ÿ”ช extra days, prison faithful get him through the distress, and G converts to islam?

I am especially worn down by the courgette story as it was a knock-off from #GQT in the first place, and has now been flogged to death. #TheArchers

Too many of these SL atm implausible esp in a farming community:
agonising over dog training; HF appaz in financial difficulty but Brine in a bidding war to donate to the Church; rare toxic squash because SW heard it on #GQT; Azra fangirling over Charlotte Smith. All just too mad.

Itโ€™s knowledge gained from listening to #GQT recently.
V rare poisoning mentioned on #BBCRadio4 twice this monthโ€ฆ coincidence? I think nor. #TheArchers #ToxicSquash #CourgetteDrama

Often make a salad with raw courgette, goes nice with a citrus-y dressing.

But this toxic courgette thing is a x-Radio 4 meta trip, since squash natural hybrids reverting to toxic properties was discussed on #GQT a few weeks ago.

We have had R4 social media scam week, and I think dependency week, and depression week. Now we are on to Bitter Squash week on R4. #GQT and #TheArchers.

A healthy group of multiple clumps of snowdrops at the corner of a patch of grass with a wooden fence bordering the pavement, the gate opens across the patch of small green and white plants.

Smaller individuals are popping up as if making a break for it; clearly scouts extending the snowdrop territory

Listening to #GQT about the difficulties growing snowdrops.

Took this photo earlier of the patch by the gate that just gradually gets bigger and bigger each year. This is my third year. The previous tenants however, Bill and Joan, lived here for >30 yrs so wonder when these were first planted?

Agree 100% with the #gqt #GardenersQuestionTime panel re Bearded Iris liking it's own company and plenty of sun... except for one I look after, var. unknown, which found its way under an old espalier apple, with roses further shading it... and it flowers it's socks off. ๐Ÿค”

Question on this week's #GardenersQuestionTime #GQT about a concrete planter, and no panel member mentioned painting it with liquid manure/pee/yogurt to age it. What is the world coming to?
