Took this photo earlier of the patch by the gate that just gradually gets bigger and bigger each year. This is my third year. The previous tenants however, Bill and Joan, lived here for >30 yrs so wonder when these were first planted?
Agree 100% with the #gqt #GardenersQuestionTime panel re Bearded Iris liking it's own company and plenty of sun... except for one I look after, var. unknown, which found its way under an old espalier apple, with roses further shading it... and it flowers it's socks off. 🤔
