We carved these three out of 12, and I think they would probably be good eating pumpkins too. Nice firm, evenly colored flesh and lots of seeds.

Sigh… we lost most of our homegrown tomato sauce when the refrigerator conked out.
Fortunately, the master gardener down the street gave us a bunch of heirlooms to augment our harvest and start again! Ready for roasting with olive oil and salt.
