Upgraded some of my garden beds
The old wooden ones were starting to fall apart, so I switched them out for steel.
The last bed is staying for now, it has garlic I planted in the fall along with some cilantro and peas 🌱 I’ll swap that one out later in the season.

6.5 x 4.5 foot bed with onions and herbs around the border, and several young plants and seedlings: tomatoes, cannellini beans, kale, cabbage, Swiss chard, beets, garbanzo beans, radishes, cranberry beans, carrots, kidney beans, and more carrots.
6.5x3.5 foot raised bed with onion and herb border, wall of pole beans, spinach, radishes, green beans, beets, peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, more peppers, eggplants, and room for zucchini which is still sprouting indoors.
6.5x2.5 foot raised bed with onion and herb border, wall of pole beans, green beans, radishes, baby beans, beets, Lima beans, mire radishes, lettuce, spinach, and mustard. This one is the “youngest” where the seeds were sown most recently.
42-inch round raised bed with onion and herb border, radishes, arugula (now replaced with green beans, beets, and a center obelisk trellis supporting snap peas, and shelling peas.
Tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and cucumbers are in. More spinach, lettuce, and green bean seeds have been sown. Beds are weeded. Things are coming in.

Garden update, week 4: The onion family seedlings are still doing great. My sweet potato has sprouted, as have my tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, and broccoli. So far, so good! Can’t wait to get these babies into the earth. Patience.
