Cracking morning last Friday #train #Shipley to #Gargrave then biked to #Malham Cove, had to push the #bike from the footpath to Malham Cove as two @yorkshiredales rangers reminded me it was exactly that.A rewarding pint to finish at the Masons Arms. 17.53 stunning miles. #Yorkshire

There was no baptism in #Gargrave. After head scratching, I deduced that he was likely the son of Robert Wellock, www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wellock..., brother of my 4xG Grandfather. Robert was an AgLab, so it's entirely possible he was baptised in another parish to his other siblings. #AncestryHour 2/3

I had the opportunity recently to hear Sheila Pantin speak live. Sheila is 101, born in #Gargrave, Yorkshire and was full of hilarious and serious stories about her time within the Women's Territorial Army in #WWII including being one of the few women helping in a concentration camp. #GenHour 1/2
