The dust has settled from the #GoodbyeLegsRide, and each of the charities received £3606.75. As unrestricted funds, I was very keen for each charity to spend it on what they felt was most important. But I did have one intriguing notion...

It is done. The #GoodbyeLegsRide campaign has now closed. £16,005 all told. After JustGiving have taken their dubious pound of flesh, each of the 4 charities should receive at least £3,500 each. I will get pics/confirmation of all donations. Thank you so much to everyone who got involved.
The #GoodbyeLegsRide vastly surpassed ambitions- we’re at £15,460 all told. It brought charities and people together, and hopefully brought some positivity to these worrying days. GBLR may be over but my next stage has just begun. One leg down, one to come. Onwards.

Recovery weekend continues. After 3 months of multiple eye drops/masks a day, was allowed to wear my contact- and regular sunglasses. Last weekend’s #GoodbyeLegsRide was the first (successful) test. Yesterday was also successful. Enjoyed a macchiato and pastel de nata at #ChandosDeliExeter
