Discouraging drawing of a phainopepla, which apparently doesn’t have a common name. Bulk of the bird is in black brush pen, I tried using pencil for the highlighted bits. The surrounding greenery is drawn in varying levels of detail and the portion of the bird below the branch it is standing on is left undone. (That’s by choice but I should have transitioned it below the branch)
