A miner's lantern

Today is the 90th anniversary of the Gresford colliery explosion, when methane gas ignited in a poorly-ventilated coal mine near Wrexham in Wales. 261 men died in the disaster.

This miner's lantern is reputed to have been used at the Gresford Colliery.
