I still think of the #HereLiesLove musical finale often.

Probably the last time on floor for #HereLiesLove (on its final wk on Broadway). I can document that I’ve seen Aaron Alcaraz understudying for the role of Ferdinand Marcos. His take is a kind of trained amiable politician, I think, compared to Jose Llana‘s threatening steel.

I wasn't surprised by the early Broadway closure of #HereLiesLove, a political musical I've seen 4 times at different angles, both standing & floorside seating. The musical says a bit about how political leaders strategically apply personality to distract from their fascism.
