Yes yes #EmpressKi stunning. Forgot that one. Big time favourite. But again unusual for Kdrama to be so long. Do watch #Haechi. It's fab. I've rewatched a few times. Sadly the badass FL had to become passive due to on set accident. (How do I know these things?) Is #Hwarang longer too?

Cannot agree. So many had nonsense rubbishy filler episodes that did nothing for plot or character. And I doubt I will ever recover from watching #RiseofthePhoenixes gazillion episodes only to be hit by that ending. Arrrghhhhh. Mind you, I loved #Haechi the only Kdrama with loads of episodes.

In other news, started the kdrama #Haechi yesterday, and wasn't expecting to really enjoy it. I don't normally like fight for the throne type drama's, but the story is actually interesting as it's based on real events. Also, I just love the cast.

I love the sageuks. Two of my favorites are #Haechi and #TheRedSleeve.
Trivia: the grandfather king in TRS is the main character (played by #JungIlWoo) in Haechi!
(Confession: I always do background research on the main characters in historical dramas/novels!)
