there are so many versions of Layne in different universes or settings but witnessing him actually growing in a way I did not foresee in this campaign is exciting on another level

This was the most stressful DnD session ever, with 5/7 party members/npcs being mind controlled into friendly fire and 4/7 of them being down in the end 🥲

List of reasons why I never worry about my campaign players metagaming or not staying in character, new entry:

Layne buffing Quinn with an attack bonus, even tho Sasha was fully aware that the next turn would be Quinn attacking Layne, because it’s what he would do in that moment

-they met another fucking ghost (!!!), he gets to reunite with the gremlin (his sis), then he has a weird emotional moment in a distressful situation with the huntress he has a complex relationship with, and now he gets literally backstabbed by his sister. life is hard okay. #HaedrisErwacht
