A rusty old cattle waterer has been screwed to a fence with an assortment of old brackets and screws, there is a metal silhouette of a Robin attached above it, the waterer is filled with water so as to form a bird bath
Made a bird bath, it’s a bit heath-robinson but I like to make stuff out of whatever I’ve got lying around in the shed!

Picture showing a window covered with insulation sheet (basically silver bubble wrap). I used a tool to put eyelets in the material and suction cups to stick it to the window... it works inside but works much better attached to the outside.... It's cheap and cheerful but it does what it was made for
A little experiment to help keep the house cool... we can't fit external blinds / shutters / shades and don't have or want aircon... it works 😀
Outside it's currently 32C, inside it's a very pleasant 22.5C... more in Alt Text
