A High Wind Warning will be in effect for southern Cook County from 7 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2026, through 2 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2026. A Wind Advisory is in effect for southern Lake County for this same time period. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are likely in these areas, with the highest gusts the farther north you live along the North Shore.
In addition, the #WindAdvisory for the #NorthShore has been upgraded to a #HighWindWarning for the Cook County portion.
