It's been another great Indy outing seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones, and watching publisher and gamer alike so excited about games.
We'll keep posting pictures of the event over the next couple days. But for now, we have to get this guy home!

There's plenty of 2025 releases in store at Alley Cat Games, including the family-weight titles Timber Town and Station to Station, and 3 new tiny box games in Sept alone - such as the adorable Barbecubes here.

Two things amply represented at Gen Con were gardens and gnomes. Often both, as was with Floodgate Games. In addition to their social game Landmarks was the gnome-centric Hedge Mage, with a KS relaunch in the near future.
Tricky gnomes outsmarted the pup...this time.

We knew before Gen Con even started this guy was going to be Trouble.
Exhibit A ‐ I turned around for one minute and he found his way INSIDE the CGE hallway display case. SETI is appealing but he was more into making friends.

Sunday we popped by Restoration Games to see the widescale debut of their new rendition of the classic kinetic game Crossbows & Catapults (plus a bit about more Unmatched).
Ok, that's what *I* did. Hola toyed around with Thunder Road vehicles per usual instead...

Our Gen Con orbit eventually took us to the Grey Fox Games booth. By then they'd sold out of their 2 new Midgard titles, but Last Light, the late 2023 game billed as '4X in an hour', continued to sell itself based on table presence.

Early on we stopped by another overseas friend, Wonderful World BG, to check out their new 2 player trick-taker Lone Wolves, and the social game Fashion Police.

And so the curtain closes on Gen Con 2024. It's been a blast - great friends, new games, and lots of positive energy.

Yesterday we stopped by The Op Games to talk about the surprise con hit Gnome Hollow, a lightweight spatial game about mushrooms.
They sold out - there was gno-more! But it'll sprout widely in a couple weeks.
With no gnomes to befriend, Hola people-watched instead.

Kosmos was showing off a bunch of 2024 titles, inc. the soon-to-be hit new social game The Gang, a Belratti(!) reprint, and Dodo, a timed family co-op about trying to keep a slowly moving egg from hitting the table.
I don't think Hola understood the rules, though...
