Bamburgh Castle Northumberland from the cricket green - the cricket square is fenced off in the mid ground awaiting warmer & longer days of summer. For me the castle has a striking profile, especially from the north side of the beach, though as it it actively lived in it has been modernised - it's over 1500 years old - & the, understandable, patchwork effect leaves me a little underwhelmed.
