I started back up on this project while The Cataclysm is with beta readers, and this is the last chapter I had written. Definitely came back to a surprise.

Using procreate, I drew and colored this very amateur rendition of the We Heart Leadville sign, which reads, "We heart Leadville Great Living at 10,200 feet," with mountains behind it. Sadly, this sign no longer exists, but it lives on in the hearts and memories of each resident of Leadville. The snippet from my work in progress reads: His heart beat faster at the reality of her working so hard to kiss him. He easily had at least ten inches on her, and aside from tilting his face down to hers, he didn't do anything to make himself easier to reach. "You're really making her work for it," Matthew said, because of course he was calling him on it. "It's hot," Nate said. "I will f**king climb you like a goddamn koala if I have to, Nate," Julia said, pushing him to the back of the couch.

Here's a little snippet from my first draft of my MMF romance. There are zombies, a mountain town, and eventually there will be artwork for it that is better than this.
