at first I thought she hated Cathyβs mother because she hated her (Lauraβs) mother for leaving her and thus indirectly causing her fiery death
then it seemed to be more generalized misogyny
but then she killed Paul
but spared her brother (Cathyβs father), whom she should have hated #HorrorWatch

it was uneven, but there were some genuinely horrifying moments and some clever plot points
the child actor had a very compelling presence; I still feel a little creeped out by her glare
Tubi thought I wanted to watch The Bad Seed next, which was funny

That said! That's another #HorrorWatch in the coffin. Hope you had some fun with our Horror Host month. I personally love horror hosts, esp since I grew up with them on Big Chuck and Little John & Superhost out of Cleveland, and then later reruns of Ghoulardi & then Monstervision in the 90's/2000's

Okay, I know a lot of you are watching on Tubi, it's a fun movie so I don't blame you. I watched this movie before Mummy and the Monkey, so the sound effects didn't bother me, lol. But I do hope some of you stuck around and enjoyed their sheninigans! The show can be a lot of fun. #HorrorWatch
