12-1am: panel 1: "need a ride?" "yeah!" I offer my friend Jordan a ride back home post-show panel 2: "What's a popular piece of media you don't like" "Komi Can't Communicate" I like being able to help friends out by offering a ride panel 3: the cartoonist flops into bed. I do immediately pass out at home with no shower.

8-9am: Last night I was out until 1am for a friend's live show. You would think I'd sleep in super late, right? [The cartoonist wakes up at 8am] nope. 9-10am: The cartoonist sits at her laptop: Let's do something. >Neopets solitaire and video in the background. The Cartoonist pauses. "I'm still sleepy...." Maybe I should just lounge in bed today. 10-11am: Laptop set up to play video essays; weighted blanket and PJs still on; fall asleep to YT videos that say "man what the fuck was with the Stranger Things finale"

11am-12pm: Still sleeping to youtube videos, this time talking about Hamilton fandom drama. The cartoonist in bed things to herself "These [hourlies] are very boring. But I honestly almost forgot about hourlies today." The cartoonist eventually sits up groggily in bed: At least I'm awake enough to catch up on hourlies. 12-1pm: I'm awake enough to sit up now, but the idea of doing anything exhausts me. "Well, my computer is right here, and I do wanna finish that 'Life After Magic' game...." "I got KJ's end, but I"m bummed at how sad ARA and Leez's ends were..." 1-2pm: the cartoonist plays Miranda and Leez's routes. "OK cute" 2-3pm: the cartoonist plays ARA's and Jackie's routes. "ARA you are messed up." 3-4pm: the cartoonist plays the DLC route. "Ok the evil boss DLC is the best route in the game." 4-5pm: "I sure wasted the day on video games huh...." "Glad I finished the game though. Anna Lee..." It's harder for me to get sucked in with early 20s drama, but the Annabel Lee route was worthwhile.

5-6pm: "Well, I finished the game. Guess I could do homework or shower or something." A beat. The cartoonist returns to the laptop: "Or I could make a steam achievement guide really fast." 6-7pm: "Hmm...making this guide is a tiny bit harder then expected." 7-8pm: "I think I have a good skeleton tho." 8-9pm: "I guess -now- I shower....it's late enough." 9-10pm: Tidy up dishes; prep lunch for work tomorrow; fold up laundry; can I finish my homework too...? Nope. Too brain dead. 10-11pm: My job involves me waking up at 6am so I can arrive by 8am; It's been a month, but it's still a struggle to adjust to. School and work as made drawing harder a task, but I am glad I still got myself to do hourlies today, boring as they are.

Let’s play!!] Feeb, sleepily: [Lemme plug in my phone first.] Feeb sits on the couch, flicking Yiro’s ribbon, while her phone charges from 19% 8 AM: SCREENTIME Feeb scrolls through social media posts, one saying “we’re cooked” and the next, “it’s over.” Feeb: [Hm.] Two blueberry breakfast bars, labelled, sit on their opened wrapper. One is partially bit. Feeb draws on his iPad, with Sabrina Carpenter stuck in his head. A low opacity doodle of the singer hovers in the background. Note: [(I watched her muppet guest appearance very recently.)]

Page 1 Hourly Comics Day 2026, February 8th, 2026 12 am: babysitting niblings 1 am: 1 hour drive home

2 am: Sweet, sweet BED 5 am: screm. (cats crying for food) 6 am: I get up to feed the cats, ankles are wobbly from pain

7 am: awake due to cats screaming still. I read A03. 8am- 12pm: Sweet, sweet sleep, finally. 12pm: get up, clean up, dress up, eat up

1 pm: Stretch, massage with a thera-cane, draw hourlies 2 pm: errands and tea (and coffee), go to the shoe store to buy boots, store clerk tells me the don't like to wear socks, and I agree with her. 3 pm: Grab wet food for the cats, spot a TINY PUPPY in the parking lot

I finally sat my ass down and finished my Hourly Comics Day spreads from Sunday. It was a quiet day ...... until Gachiakuta came up :))))

A traditional autobiographical comic. I am portrayed as a skeletal lizard with a scythe tail. The first five panels have a thought bubble border, indicating that they're part of a dream. In the first panel, my character is sitting at a desk and smiling as she faces a Pikachu. She says, "Well, since I have to go back to college for another semester, I guess I'll take this class. This seems nice." In the second panel, the Pikachu drops a giant book onto my desk, eyes closed in a gentle smile as he says, "In THIS class you will read a 900 p age romance novel--" as my character, off-panel, says "Uh--" In the third panel, the Pikachu holds out a comically long piece of paper and points at it, saying, "Do MULTIPLE complex art projects, graded subjectively--" while I say, off-panel, "But this isn't--" In the fourth panel, the Pikachu's back is to the viewer as he holds his hands behind his back and looks over his shoulder with an unpleasant expression, saying, "And... for the final..." In the fifth panel, the Pikachu's ears become horns, his tail tip becomes a devil tail, he grows fangs, his eyes look stereotypically "evil," and he's holding a pitchfork as he's abruptly surrounded by flames as he shouts, "TELL EVERYONE ABOUT YOUR TRAUMA!! I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!! MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!" as my character, horrified and crying, screams "NOOOO!!" The final panel has a normal border. I am lying in bed, with my long-haired cat Stanley sleeping behind my head, his tail wrapped around me. My eyes are wide as my alarm blares, "GOOOooOOOOD MOOR-ning! You have been in suspension for NINE NINE NINE NINE NINE..." The caption for the panel reads, "That was the most cartoonish trauma nightmare I've had." The page is labeled "hourly comics day 2/8/26"

The first two panels are labeled 8 AM. The first shows me staring down at my phone, swirly-eyed, tapping at it repeatedly, the background dark and swirling around me, with the caption reading "Been addicted to yet another merge game lately."
