Hubble-X, a vibrant emission nebula complex in the nearby galaxy NGC 6822, is home to massive, 4-million-year-old stars. Its glowing colors are fueled by intense ultraviolet radiation from these young stars, sculpted by stellar winds and radiation interacting with interstellar clouds. Resembling the Orion Nebula, Hubble-X (designated X in a catalog of similar objects within NGC 6822 due to it being the tenth found) is intrinsically brighter and much farther away at 1.6 million light-years. Spanning 100 light-years across, it dwarfs the Orion Nebula's 10 light-year width.
