A day after State Rep. Shannon Lundgren ended her campaign in #IA02, Donald Trump and Mike Johnson endorsed Joe Mitchell (who already had a bunch of other MAGA backers).
Lundgren would have been a stronger GOP candidate. She has deep ties to the area (and was an early Trump endorser).
Watch out for #IA02 this year. It's an open seat because of Ashley Hinson running for Senate and the Republicans are coalescing behind a TPUSA acolyte who never represented any part of the district.

I thought she would be a strong Congressional candidate, but she was rumored to be struggling with fundraising.
