Well said. Some countries avoided lockdown by acting earlier & more effectively to reduce the transmission of the virus. This is a key lesson we need to learn & one emphasised by #IndependentSage. Hard work on top of day job but I was pleased to have been part of it & its important contribution.

Proud to be part of this amazing group from whom I continue to learn so much. And thank you @chrischirp.bsky.social for providing this informative thread summarising #IndependentSAGE activities over nearly 3 years (taken from recently published paper). It was unique & greatly appreciated by many.
