Day 715 of gamedev. The unwinnable battle is kinda finished. Monkey needs to add some more dummy effects in it like a blocking shield. But the battle is now playable and works as intended. Next Monkey will finish this up and we will start with the last part of the intro. #gamedev #indigame #indidev

The Legend of Khiimori is so chill! I loved rainstorms, nature, the riding, and even the little mini-game of picking up herbs from the ground 🤣
Not a fan of the camping kit constantly duplicating in my saddle bags and nearly breaking my horse's back though!

Currently having a blast working on Usagi my fantasy console ;)
Now it have sound, it use LuaJit, have a proper memory layout for the virtual memory, is compatible with Tracy for profiling and has been really optimized !
With all that my demo went from 5ms to 0.6 ms per frames!

Day 710 of gamedev. Monkey finished a dummy version of the level sequence between the first and second battle. Day 705 of gamedev. Monkey worked on event triggers after battle so there can be a level sequence. Monkey also added a background. Monkey thinks it is very mesmerizing. Look deeeeeeply into it. Sadly there were some issues with morph targets so monkey has to solve this next week. #gamedev #indigame

Got some feedback for Dungeon DIe-DIe 🎲🎲 that made me rethink how carried items fit into gameplay.
Can now have multiple consumables, and even passives! Enemies may also benefit and be more unique (e.g. Golems have an Exoskeleton to take less poison and magic dmg).
