Day 720 of gamedev. Monkey finished the first iteration of the unwinnable fight. There are now shield effects. Monkey also build a system to skip Level Sequences that have Event Triggers in them. With this i can still trigger the fight event, even though it is not played. #gamedev #indigame #indidev

Day 715 of gamedev. The unwinnable battle is kinda finished. Monkey needs to add some more dummy effects in it like a blocking shield. But the battle is now playable and works as intended. Next Monkey will finish this up and we will start with the last part of the intro. #gamedev #indigame #indidev
The Legend of Khiimori is so chill! I loved rainstorms, nature, the riding, and even the little mini-game of picking up herbs from the ground 🤣

Currently having a blast working on Usagi my fantasy console ;)
Now it have sound, it use LuaJit, have a proper memory layout for the virtual memory, is compatible with Tracy for profiling and has been really optimized !
With all that my demo went from 5ms to 0.6 ms per frames!

Day 705 of gamedev. Monkey worked on event triggers after battle so there can be a level sequence. Monkey also added a background. Monkey thinks it is very mesmerizing. Look deeeeeeply into it. Sadly there were some issues with morph targets so monkey has to solve this next week. #gamedev #indigame
